Your Fabric Trend Guide for Winter 2026 - Expect the unexpected!

At first glance, the Winter 2026 runways felt like a déjà vu of seasons past. But look closer, and the key trends for Fall/Winter 26 reveal anything but familiarity. This season is not driven by nostalgia or predictable classics. Instead, it celebrates bold reinterpretations of familiar silhouettes-returning more volume and layering, sharper, louder big shoulders, and more self-confident and assertive than ever.

New Generation Checks - Grey Is Great Models dressed in grey check coats
Checks kick-start the season with a modern attitude. Traditional country classics are reimagined through contrast-combining reverse and face sides within a single garment and enhanced with confident colour blocking for visual impact.   Our Wellington jacquard check delivers a durable, warm knitted ponti in versatile shades of grey, perfectly suited to balloon-style trousers and relaxed tailoring while the Pinstripe ponti speaks to the continued importance of suiting-offering clean structure, elegance, and timeless appeal for both formal and fashion-led looks. Models dressed in pinstripe suiting   Classic pant, skirt and jacket silhouettes in a smooth face posh ponti reflect the confidence and assertiveness of the season.

"Edgy but cozy" defines one of Winter 26's strongest narratives. Expressive, crafty sewing techniques highlight garments designed to transcend seasons-adding longevity and value while aligning with the growing eco-conscious mindset. By mixing older SK stock fabrics with new developments, designers can create a compelling vintage-meets-renewal aesthetic that feels authentic and sustainable. Cotton qualities such as our natural Washer Cotton and cotton Corduroy offer softness with a lived-in finish. Suitable for the whole family, these fabrics combine low maintenance with comfort-driven design-where ease meets understated style.
